Where to go / What to see

First, check out our Add-on Italian experiences and what else goes on in the region.  Or if you prefer to explore by yourself here are some suggestions.

Le Marche is simply a wonderful region, unspoiled natural beauty as yet undiscovered by the tourist hoards. It’s authentic Italy at its most Italian – picturesque mediaeval hilltop towns, museums, churches, markets, history, art, music, opera, tradition and culture, sun-soaked beaches and incomparable mountain scenery.

So what to do here?  Well just for starters, all these activities are readily available – sightseeing, mountain lake swimming, tennis, walking, climbing, cycling, mountain-biking, horse-riding, skiing, and not forgetting frolicking in the oh-so-warm Adriatic.

For the gastronomer, this is a prime region for both black and white truffles, regional cheeses, porchetta, and the famed Montepulciano wines.
